Russia and Iran Grabbed the Gold Medals of Day 1
At conclusion of the first day of 27th Fajr Open, Russia and Iran climbed the first place podium of -80 kg and -58 kg respectively.
This G-1 Tournament began with participation of Iran, Armenia, Brazil, India, Iraq, Libya, Russia, Azerbaijan, Turkey and Afghanistan on 7 May 2016 in Taekwondo House, Tehran.
27th Fajr Open features 4 Olympic weight categories of the male category.
In -58 kg, Mohammad Kazemi from Iran’s Karaj Municipality team won the first place. Vahid Alami from Afghanistan’s team A seized the Silver medal and the Bronze medals went to Yusef Shriha from Libya and Hadi Tiranvalipour from Iran’s Sari Martyrs team.
In -80 kg, Arutiun Meliksetiants bagged the Gold medal for Russia. The Silver medal went to Amirhossein Sasan from Sari Martyrs team. Vahid Isabeiglou from Iran’s Hope team and Pouria Erfanian from Karaj Municipality team achieved the Bronze medals of this category.
The matches of -68 kg and +80 kg of 27th Fajr Open will be held on 8 May 2016.
